I hosted a research reception through the MS Society tonight. Dr. Howard Weiner was our guest. Dr. Weiner is a professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School and has studied MS for over 3 decades. It was fascinating to hear him talk about his work, the new breakthroughs in treatment and the new medications that are in FDA process. I am thankful for people like Dr. Weiner as it is people like him that will find a cure for MS so my boys will never hear the words “you have MS”.
